I should be more excited that today is the day Halo 3 is released to the general public. I should have been in line last night, waiting to get my copy at midnight. I also should have stayed up until 4 in the morning playing said game.
Well, I did pick up my copy after work today and I immediately brought it home... and put it on the shelf. You see, my Xbox 360 broke last week, so now I own a game that I have been waiting for for three years... and I can't play it for another few weeks.
In other words, I will not be finishing the fight any time soon. Thank you, Microsoft, for building a console that doesn't even last a year. I was so looking forward to sending off my Xbox for 4-6 weeks. No, really, it was at the top of my priority list this month.
The only bright side of this is that Megan felt so bad for me that she bought us a Nintendo Wii last week. I knew I was marrying her for a reason.

That sucks about the box, but megan really showed up with getting the Wii, considering they're like a thousand times more fun. Let me paint you a picture...Joe, Megan, Marcus, Stephy, case of stones, lawn chairs set up in the living room, and pro bass tournament fishing on the Wii. Think about it, could life get better? i think not.
