Cagey Bees 9 - Sticklebacks 2

The undefeated Cagey Bees (3-0-1) bested the ridiculously named Sticklebacks to the tune of 9 to 2 on Thursday. We went up 2-0 in the first, but the Sticklebacks fought back to tie the game. We turned it on in the fourth, though, so score 7 unanswered runs between the fourth and fifth innings. I went 1-2 at the plate, a line drive being caught in the first and a bunt in the fifth. I made one out as catcher in the second inning and had some great pitching in the fifth. Also, Megan was co-captain this week and she did a great job not only at making a great line up/fielding order, but also made a great double play in the fifth to completely demoralize the other team (and also winning her the Sickle award for best female player).

We also tried something new after the game by going bowling instead of going to the bar. Not only was it more fun than the bar, but also much cheaper. I think we should do this every week.
