The spring inline hockey season at Skate City began this last Sunday. I am on my third consecutive gold/orange colored team, a color that has gone 1-1 in winning-losing seasons. I'm hoping this iteration will be a little more successful, seeing as that we have some experienced players on the team.

Our game this Sunday was against White. We lost 7-8 but the score doesn't really tell the story of the game. We dominated White for the first 10 minutes of the game and also the last 15 minutes of the second half. We just couldn't put the puck in the net and were actually down 6-8 with just a minute left in the game. We pulled the goalie and got a quick goal to bring us within 1 but couldn't capitalize on the two man advantage when White drew a penalty with 20 seconds left in the game. I scored no goals, but then again, I only had 1 shot on goal the entire game. Not much of a puck handling game for me, but I think my defensive and skating efforts were above average (for me).

No game this Sunday on account of it being Easter.
