I'll go ahead and apologize for the majority of my thoughts being directed towards the upcoming LSAT test. Preparing for the exam is taking up a lot of my free time and naturally, it's what I am thinking about the most lately.
I just finished the second practice exam of my preparation regiment. This test was timed, 35 minutes for each of the 4 sections in the test. The test consisted of two logical reasoning sections, one analytical reasoning (games) section, and one reading comprehension section. I scored 58 correct answers out of 101, which translates to roughly a scaled score of 151 (50th percentile) if I were taking the real test. Even though I only got 57% of the questions correct, the LSAT is scored on a bell curve, so 58 correct is actually a good thing. I'm shooting for a 158 scaled score, so I need to work on getting 10-12 more questions correct in the next 4 weeks.
I'm pretty happy with this improvement. I took a practice test last Sunday, untimed, and scored a 48 raw/144 scaled. The fact that I improved by 10 correct answers in a substantially smaller amount of time is great. Of course, the exams were from different books, but the difficulty of the questions seemed to be the same, so I don't believe that my improvement is without merit.
