Application Process Update

Here's an update on my progression through the quagmire that is applying to law school. I think they (the schools) make it so hard to apply so that they can weed out the people who don't really want it before they have to deal with bad students in their programs.

Register with LSAC
Register with LSDAS
Register for the LSAT
Take the LSAT (February 7)
Request transcripts
Request two letters of recommendation
Write personal statement
Update resume
Fill out application to the school

So, I'm about halfway there. Along with studying for the LSAT, I need to finish writing my personal statement. I was working on it pretty heavily last month but hit a wall and couldn't push myself to get over it. I don't know why the statement has been so difficult to write; I suppose it's because I haven't done anything remarkable in the academic world so I'm forced to find something awesome that I have done elsewhere and relate it to why I am a great candidate for law school. Whatever the hang up is, I need to push past it and get something on paper in the next couple of weeks.
